We went to the State Fair!

We went to the Alaska State Fair this weekend, and it was a blast! We went with Granny and Catie's brothers, Willie and Josef. We all had tons of fun, and ate WAY too much food. The turkey legs were something to remember, for sure. This is cute little Charli posing with her Granny in front of Alaska's biggest cabbage of 2008! Everyone around thought we should take this picture every year. I thought it was a cute idea, and we'll see how that works out. haha.
We spent the night (a very wakeful night I might add...thanks Charli :)) in Granny and Lelands motorhome and got an early start so we could see all the sights! It was raining pretty hard for the majority of the day, but we tried not to let that dampen our fun! We went shopping, got wax hands, went to a lumberjack show, played cards in the motorhome when it was raining (phase ten is fun!) and rode some rides! All in all we had a wonderful time, and we can't wait to do it again next year!!
